1. Public Services (parks, libraries, schools)
Grade: B
Comments:I gave it a B because i put all of the parks, schools. Lake Hiawatha Park, Minnehaha Park, Roosevelt Library, Roosevelt High School, Northrop Elementary, and Folwell Middle School

2. Transportation (access to bike routes, bus and train, main streets, and highways)
Grade: B
Comments: I gave this a B cause i put all of the bus & train numbers and bicycle paths. Minnehaha pkwy, Bus 22, 7, 46 Trains 46Th

3. Retail Services (groceries, pharmacies, coffee shops, banks, restaurants and more)
Grade: C
Comments: Some are Walgreens, Flag Foods, Dokkens Superette, Bill’s Garden, Baker’s Wife, McDonalds, Burger King.

4. Safety (violent and nonviolent crime, shots fired, predatory offenders, and pedestrian safety)
Grade: B
Comments: Some bad stuff happened in my neighborhood but in Kenny a couple of stuff happened like crimes & in Jordan a lot of bad stuff happened than in my neighborhood and in Kenny. But Jordan is probably the worst place to live in.

Grade: C
Comments: Where I live there’s no airplane noise, no pollution and the air quality is OK. Basically there’s no problem with noise, pollution and the air.

6. Demographics (diversity, homeowner ship, education, income, and poverty)
Grade: B
Comments: In neighborhood education is not that good and homeowner ship is pretty big, in Kenny the education is a bit higher and the homeowner ship is also pretty big, and in Jordan the education is lower than in my neighborhood and in Kenny. The homeowner ship in Jordan is less than my neighborhood and Kenny.

7. Areas for Improvement: There's no areas to be improved in my neighborhood everything is o.k. the way it is. But there's only one thing that should be improved in my neighborhood is crime and burglary.

8. What I like best about my neighborhood: What I like about my neighborhood is the people that live there and it’s also close to a park so kids can go and play. I also like it because there’s a park with soccer nets and I like it because I like to play soccer a lot & so I can practice also.

9. What I’d Most Like to See for My Neighborhood: What I want see in my neighborhood is no more crimes, because there’s been a couple not a lot just like 3 or 5 but I want that to stop. Also want kids to be safe and to play at the park or outside there house.

My Neighborhood Description: It is located on 36th Humbolt Ave North 55412.

1. Public Services: Folwell the park, North Regional Library, and Jordon Park the school is near my neighborhood.
Grade: I give my neighborhood an A- because it has lots of resources.
Comments: Lots of good resources.

2. Transportation (There is a bike route that runs on 26th to Theodore Wirth Park, there is a bike route that runs from Washington to Downtown , bus 5M runs down on Fremont to Downtown to the Mall of America and, main streets, and highways)
Grade: B+ because you can go everywhere but it will take a long time to get to the places you need to go.
Comments: I gave it a B+ because the buses and trains are very far from each other.

3. Retail Services: We have all these groceries, pharmacies, coffee shops, banks, and restaurants but they are very far away from me.
Grade: B+
Comments: Maybe if they weren’t so far away it’d would a have a better grade.

4. Safety: I think that my neighborhood is pretty violent because there has been a lot of crime and but lately there hasn’t been much violent that has happened, lots of shots fired, not a lot of offenders, it is kind of.
Grade: I would give it a C because there is lots of violence.
Comments: I arrived with this grade because there are a lot of things that happen in my neighborhood that not a lot of people know about.

5. Nuisances: NO airplane noises, lots of pollution, and lots I think of odor.
Grade: C because there is way too much pollution.
Comments: Way too much pollution.

6. Demographics: My neighborhood is more diverse than Kenny’s neighborhood and Jordan’s. We have the most ownership. I think Kenny has more educated people/ neighborhood.
Grade: C
Comments: Kenny is better.

7. Areas for Improvement: I think that my neighborhood needs a lot of improvement because people litter a lot and that there shouldn’t be much violence.

8. What I like best about my neighborhood: What I like best about my neighborhood is that I can go where ever I want without anybody knowing where I go because they don’t go there often with me.

9. What I’d Most Like to See for My Neighborhood: I like it when my neighborhood is quiet and not so much going on and I like it when there isn’t a lot of people outside.

Comments I give transportation a c because sometimes the bus be late in your in a hurry and people staring to hit bikes they just don’t care they need to do something about it.

Comments: I give my retail services a A because when you need to get coffee in the morning you can go to Starbucks. and when you need to cash your check you got the bank.

Comments: I give this an F because there a lot of stuff going on right now and police are not doing anything about it - they're slacking off.

8. What I like best about my neighborhood: What I like best In my neighborhood is I get to hang around all different types of people and young kids we have movies and game places.

9. What I’d Most Like to See for My Neighborhood: What I'd most see in my neighborhood is an end to gangbangers, shootings, muggings, fighting, and late night partying.

My Neighborhood Description: My neighborhood is a place where everything is close by like I can walk to the stores to the restaurants and is easy to get around. My neighborhood is a place where you can learn more new stuff.

Comments: I give my neighborhood this grade because there is not a lot of resources like libraries or nothing like that and it’s not a lot of schools only Merc alternative school and Whittier.

2. Transportation (access to bike routes, bus and train, main streets, and highways)

Comments: There are a lot of bike routes and bus routes in my neighborhood I can get from my house to downtown and it’s easy to get there on the bus because there are bus routes and the closest highway is I-35W. It’s easy to get bus transportation.

Comments: in my neighborhood there is a lot of groceries like Walgreens and K-Mart ,starbucks, the Spy House, Wells Fargo , Rainbow Restaurants , Mariachi, Pancho Villa and I give my neighborhood a 10 because there is everything I need in my neighborhood restaurants ,stores, bank.

Comments: my neighborhood is a safe place I think because there is not a lot of violence in my neighborhood it’s not a lot of crime or anything like that.

My Neighborhood Description: My neighborhood is on the South side of Minneapolis near Lake Hiawatha

1. Public Services (parks, libraries, schools)
Grade: A
Comments: Sibley Park, Roosevelt and Nokomis Libraries, Roosevelt High and Folwell junior high

2. Transportation (access to bike routes, bus and train, main streets and highways)
Grade: A
Comments: There is the Minnehaha bike trail, bus routes 21, 23 and the light rail, 3 main streets are Cedar Ave. 38th Street and Hiawatha Ave.

3. Retail Services (groceries, pharmacies, coffee shops, banks, restaurants and more)
Grade: A
Comments: Everett’s grocery and Mi Axochiapan. There are no pharmacies though. Two coffee shops include Tillie’s Bean and A cup a Joe. There are no banks in my neighborhood. Restaurants include Matt’s, The Chatterbox and Bill’s Garden

4. Safety (violent and nonviolent crime, shots fired, predatory offenders and pedestrian safety)
Grade: B
Comments: There are a lot of non-violent crimes which include robbery and arson. There are a couple of aggravated assaults but no homicides. No shots fired in my neighborhood but a lot really close. There are seven level 3 predatory offenders. Pedestrians are pretty safe in my neighborhood. No cars hitting them or drive by shootings.

5. Nuisances (airport noise, pollution and odors)
Grade: C
Comments: There is a lot of airport noise in my neighborhood; we do live like 5 miles away from the airport. Not a lot of pollution but just a couple of air complaints. No bad odor complaints but I think it smells a lot like sewage a lot.

6. Demographics (diversity, homeownership, education, income and poverty)
Grade: C
Comments: There is a lot of diversity in my neighborhood, only half of it is white. Homeownership is only 60%. I think that should be higher. Education is pretty low for my neighborhood, only 28% have bachelor’s degrees or higher. Income isn’t too bad ($37,462) but I think it should be higher. Poverty level is 15.4% that’s pretty bad.

7. Areas for Improvement: Some streets in my neighborhood can be fixed up, and the construction everywhere should really hurry up and finish.

8. What I like best about my neighborhood: What I like best about my neighborhood is that there are a lot of places you can go to and you don’t have to worry much about safety and how you are going to get there with buses, streets and bike trails.

9. What I’d Most Like to See for My Neighborhood: I would like the construction and bad smells to go away and take the predators with them. Also poverty levels should really go down.

Comments: There is Hiawatha Park, Sibley Field, Roosevelt high School, Folwell Middle School, Roosevelt Library. This neighborhood has good parks, libraries, and schools

2. Transportation (access to bike routes, bus and train, main streets, and highways)
Grade: A
Comments: Hiawatha pkwy, Bus 14,22,23,55, highway 55, 38th street and railroad. you can get were ever you want with the transportation in my neighborhood

3. Retail (groceries, pharmacies, coffee shops, banks, restaurants and more)
Grade: A
Comments: Tom Thumbs, Flag foods, Dokkens superette, Chris and Robs Chicago Taste, Bill’s Garden, MC Donald’s. You have a lot of grocery store also restaurants that have great food

4. Safety (violent and nonviolent crime, shots fired, predatory offenders, and pedestrian safety)
Grade: D
Comments: mostly Person Robbery and Aggravated assault. In some parts it can be very dangerous but in some parts is very quiet but compared to others is kind of in the middle.

5. Nuisances (airport noise, pollution, and odors)
Grade: C
Comments: Tanks, leaks and hazardous waste there is a lot of pollution in my neighborhood but in some parts only.

6. Demographics (diversity, homeownership, education, income, and poverty)
Grade: C
Comments: more than 70% of the people in my neighborhood own their house. There are little people that actually finished college in my neighborhood.

7. Areas for Improvement: the areas that need improvement are cedar and 38th because there always like crappy looking or constructing right there and it’s annoying.

8. What I like best about my neighborhood:
I like best in my neighborhood is all the things you can find from restaurants to transportation and grocery stores.

9. What I’d Most Like to See for My Neighborhood: What I would like to see in my neighborhood would be to have better fields for baseball, football and soccer that’s the only thing I would like to see in my neighborhood.

My Neighborhood Description: It’s a friendly environment and my neighborhood is located near Pizza Luccie and lots of parks like Seward triangle and the Seward Coop Grocery.

1) The public parks, libraries and schools in my neighborhood I would give a B- because the people in my Community clean up after themselves and the schools are very educational and the libraries are very calm and you could get all your work done there.

2) The Public transportation in my area I would give an A+ to because they have all kinds of buses going downtown if you wanted. Also the Franklin Light Rail that goes either ways to Downtown or all the way to the Mall of America.

3) I would give the Groceries in my neighborhood a B- because there are Grocery stores in my neighborhood but they’re far apart. There is a Wells Fargo in my neighborhood if you need a bank. We have the Snyder Pharmacy and Maria’s Coffee Shop near Each other as well.

4) Safety in my neighborhood I would give a C+ because my neighborhood is just violent towards stealing there was a few cell phones and car keys and cars stolen in my neighborhood.

5) Nuisances in my neighborhood I would give a B+ there not as much Airport Noises but there is a little odor when there under streets are under construction.

6) The income in my neighborhood I would give a A+ because they get allot of money from the government for some reason and Seward gets about 30-40 thousand a year.

7) Areas for improvements I would say would be Franklin Ave. because that road is broken apart and damaged and is a bit small for cars passing by. My Neighborhood would also be improved if there more Cops around because sometimes there are a lot of violent crimes around.

8) What I like best about my neighborhood is the transportation, like if I needed to go to school I could ride the train. I love the public transportation.

9) I would like to see mostly more parades and celebrations in my neighborhood maybe a neighborhood gathering.

My Neighborhood Name: Powderhorn

My Neighborhood Description: south of Lake Street, west of Cedar Ave., north of 38th street , east of Chicago Ave. It was named after the lake that is shaped like a Powderhorn. It very fun to see all the celebration that goes on in my neighborhood.

1. Public Services (park, libraries, schools)
Grade: B
Comments: I arrived to that grade by seeing how many public services there are in my neighborhood and how far they are. They are Toni's Market, South Side Food Deli, Latino groceries, movies on 35st, acme awning, us bank, international lend of Mn, Wells Fargo, Ala salsa, KFC, Manny's Tortas, Mayday Cafe, no pharmacies.

2. Transportation ( access to bike routes, bus and train, main streets, and highways)
Grade: B
Comments: I arrived at this grade because it is very good in everything except of the no bike trail situation. The Bus routes are 38,133,14,5,23 and highway 36w is near.

3. Retail Services ( groceries, pharmacies, coffee shops, banks, restaurants and more)

Comments: I arrived to grade B because my neighborhood doesn’t have a pharmacy and I only have one library, and it’s not in my neighborhood its near it. I have plenty of grocery stores. And plenty of places to eat even though they are not in my neighborhood they’ re near it.

Comments: My neighborhood is a very safe neighborhood compared to other neighborhood for example my neighborhood is way better than Jordan neighborhood they have way more crime than my neighborhood, but my neighborhood compared to Kenny well it ‘s o.k. Kenney neighborhood has basically no crime. My neighborhood has 7 predatory offenders that is a lot compared to Kenny that has absolutely no predatory offenders but Jordan has 11 way more than me.

5. Nuisances (airport noise, pollution, and odors)

Comments: it is North of all the noise because of the airport, so i don't get that much nuisances. My neighborhood has little pollution like other neighborhoods.

6. Demographics (diversity, homeownership, education, income, and poverty)
Grade: A
Comments: I gave this an A because my neighborhood has lots of diversity it has more than half of the people in my neighborhood 59% of it are Owner-occupied housing units. The education is o.k. Not the best it’s 28% has a bachelors degree or higher families below poverty level are 15.4%not good at all .it is way more than Kenny that has 2.9% and a little better then Jordan which has 27%.

7. Areas for Improvement: My neighborhood could improve in bike trails I would like it if I could get up in the morning and bike not just around Powderhorn lake I would like to bike to someplace just watching nature with barely any man made things except the cement under my bikes wheel. I would like to have something like the greenway near my neighborhood. And maybe a pharmacy a little bit nearer to Powderhorn neighborhood. And it wouldn’t hurt to have a library near to so I can take as less time possible walking to the library when I could be studying or typing something up in the computer.

8. What I like best about my neighborhood: I like that my neighborhood has a park super close and that a lot of celebrations go on there, I love nature I think it very beautiful and to be able to walk a cross the street kind of and get to the park filled with nature I like it very much.

9. What I’d Most Like to See for My Neighborhood: I would most like to see my neighborhood safer, in reference of lower crime rates, so that I can go any where by myself and with no worries.

My Neighborhood Description: It’s by South High School. It has a big lake and has baseball and football fields.

Comments: There aren’t any libraries nearby but there are some parks around my neighborhood.

Grade: A
Comments: There are a lot of bus routes, bike trails, and a light rail stations nearby Powderhorn.

3. Retail Services
Grade: B
Comments: There are some stores near Powderhorn, but they are placed a little far from the neighborhood.

4. Safety
Grade: C
Comments: There are some crimes, but usually its safe around my neighborhood.

5. Nuisances
Grade: C
Comments: There are some airplanes that fly by, but not that many cars come by my house.

6. Demographics
Grade: C
Comments: Sometimes there are homeless people around my neighborhood. But they have nice apartments in my neighborhood.

7. Areas for Improvement: The crime rate and murders should be stopped. And the pollution should be lessened.

8. What I like best about my neighborhood: I like the baseball fields and the football field. I also like the store near my house.

My Neighborhood Description: It’s by Lake St and 35 W, Stevens Ave and 36Th, on the west Lyndale. It was named after Josiah Lyndon colonial governor of Rohde Island in 1768-1769.

1. Public Services (parks, libraries, schools)
Grade: A

Comments: I give my neighborhood an A because it has different libraries, schools, and parks there’s a variation of places you can go. There’s more than one of each place in my neighborhood.

2. Transportation (bus routes, train rails, bicycle trails)
Grade: B

Comments: there’s few train lines the Hiawatha line, Newman line, and 38th street. Not a lot of bicycle trails, Minnehaha Ave, Hiawatha Ave, and the Greenway. Different bus routes pass by my neighborhood, like 18,5,and 23

3. Retail Services (groceries, pharmacies, coffee shops, banks, restaurants and more)
Grade: A

Comments: There are a lot of groceries stores and restaurants like Rainbow’s Chinese, Taco Bell, I gave my neighborhood an A because businesses are all around my neighborhood.

4. Safety (violent and nonviolent crime, shots fired, predatory offenders, and pedestrian safety)
Grade: B

Comments: There’s not a lot of violence in my neighborhood but there are some robberies and domestic aggravated and some aggravated assaults.

5. Nuisances (airport noise, pollution, and odors)
Grade: C

Comments: Airport noise isn’t a problem but air pollution is there’s hazardous waste all around my neighborhood.

6. Demographics (diversity, homeownership, education, income, and poverty)
Grade: A

Comments: There’s about an equal amount of white and non-white in my neighborhood and educated people poverty is in the middle of the other 2 neighborhoods. Poverty is about 16% in my neighborhood.

7. Areas for Improvement: The neighbors don’t really communicate they don’t even talk to each other. Yes my neighborhood is quiet but I don’t see my neighbors getting alone they don’t dislike each other but they don’t like each other either. We need more neighborhood events.

For the air quality there is pollution caused by the burning of fossil fuels. Which cause the air to smell so bad and contaminate the air.

Comments: There are about five percent of people in my neighborhood who live under poverty, around twenty percent who has education, and more whites than colored people, like about ninety percent.

7. Areas for Improvement: By reducing the crime of burglary, so to make that happen we need watchful neighbors and if all pitch in we can make this a better and safe place.

I like how close every retail and public service are so close to my neighborhood or near, I think there is about 9 of them close to my neighborhood.

Comments: I gave my neighborhood a C because there are not a lot of people that own their own houses. I think the reason why is because the conditions the houses are in and the way the things look around it. Also not a lot of people have a god education. It compares to my neighborhood because some neighborhoods have a majority of people who have a good education compared to mine.

7. Areas for Improvement: I think some of the areas that could use improvement are the streets because they have a lot of cracks and they have a lot of pot holes. That is the only thing I think could use improvement. The crime in my neighborhood is mainly theft.

8. What I like best about my neighborhood: The thing I like best about my neighborhood is the way it is set up. The stores are like just the right blocks away for me to walk there. The other thing in my neighborhood that I like is the things that are for my age group like all around and I don’t have to walk to miles to get anywhere. Also, the bus stop is right in front of my house.

I really do want new basketball courts. The courts that are there now are really messed up. The other thing that I would like to see in my neighborhood is tennis courts. I want tennis courts that are made up of clay. I just don’t want to play on concrete.

My Neighborhood Description: My neighborhood is off of Highway 62 near the 34th avenue off ramp in the southeastern corner of Minneapolis. It is a very quiet spot very little action goes on. There’s a park, and it ends near Minnehaha Creek.

Grade: A
Comments: There are a couple of parks, and schools and one library. I gave Minnehaha because there is at least one school, library and park.

2. Transportation (access to bike routes, bus and train, main streets, and highways)
Grade: A
Comments: It is right off of Highway 62. Also near the creek there are bike paths. Also, the boundary of my neighborhood ends at Hiawatha Avenue; there are bus routes and the LRT that leave from there. Also, at the end of my block there is a city bus stop.

Grade: A
Comments: In my neighborhood there aren’t any inside of the boundary, but there are banks, restaurants, and more. All except pharmacies, the only one near my neighborhood is on the other side of Hiawatha Avenue.

Comments: Although there aren’t many crimes that go on, many things that happen go unreported. My friend lives four blocks away and he is always saying that there are either cops or ambulances on his block. The C4 crimes are widespread in my neighborhood too.

Comments: There is very little of anything like pollution or anything, but the airplane noise gets annoying because we live just outside of the limits for the special windows.

Comments: My neighborhood is predominantly white with little diversity. Almost all people in my neighborhood own their house. Only 40% have a bachelor degree. Income averages to be about $50,000. Only 2% of the people in my neighborhood are below the poverty line.

7. Areas for Improvement: On my block many drivers roar down the street, to fix it may be to put up some speed bumps, but other than that not much to fix.

8. What I like best about my neighborhood: I like the availability of parks and businesses, most of which are within walking distance.

9. What I’d Most Like to See for My Neighborhood: An extension of the noise abatement funds and projects window treatments. Especially if the boundary ends right at my block where the planes still fly over we should be entitled to the windows too.

Grade: C
Comments: There is Glen Gale Park, Fairview Park, North Regional Library, Nellie Stone Johnson, and Lucy Craft Laney/Hmong International Academy. I arrived it at a C because most of my trips to these places are usually walks.

2. Transportation: (access to bike routes, bus and train, main streets, and highways)
Grade: B
Comments: My transportation is walking, biking, the bus, or my parents.
Sometimes I take the bus to places; Buses I use are Bus 5 and 4. I don’t have a bike of my own but I do ask my brothers for theirs. I usually bike on 26th Ave N, but I don’t bike there no more. I just bike on sidewalks usually all the way to downtown. I tend to not ask my parents that much because they’re always busy with lots of work. So like I said, I usually walk for my transportation. But when I need to, I take it.

Comments: I live near Cub Foods, So Lo grocery outlet, Aldi, CVS Pharmacy, Family Dollar, Do it Best, US Bank, TCF Bank, Bean Scene, McDonalds, Burger King, KFC, etc. I say I live in a neighborhood that provides a lot for me in many ways. This neighborhood has groceries, hardware’s, pharmacies, coffee shops, restaurants, and everything that I need.

Comments: I live near Aggravated Assaults and lots of other C4 Offences. I wouldn't say my neighborhood is as bad as an F but it is bad to be a D. I would say the one thing that we need to improve the most is decreasing our crime rates. With our crime rates, it shows us who we are as a neighborhood. So yeah, this is what my neighborhood needs to work on the most.

What I like about my neighborhood is that it can sometimes be quiet and I like it that way. Most of the time, it can be very quiet. In the afternoon or past noon, it gets louder and louder each time. But most of the time it’s quiet at times. So peaceful, I can ever hear the birds and the wind blowing.

What I want to see my neighborhood is to be a good neighborhood. I don’t want to see our neighborhood that is a sign for “The Most Dangerous Place in Minneapolis.” I want it to be a neighborhood to welcome someone and feel comfortable in that neighborhood and become a part of our neighborhood. Most of the people that move here to Jordan become the violence because they see it as a thing that goes in our neighborhood. That is what I hope to see in our neighborhood, to become better.

Comments: Parks in my neighborhood are Fairview, Jordan Park, Newton Triangle, Glen Gale Park, and North Commons. Schools in my neighborhood are Lucy Craft Laney, Nellie Stone Johnson, Cityview, Sheridan, Henry, North, and Edison. The only library in my neighborhood is North Regional.
I arrived at this grade for this section because my neighborhood has a lot of schools and parks and we have a pretty great library, the only problem is the crime.

Some main streets in my neighborhood are Lyndale, Lowry, Broadway, ectera. The two main highways in my neighborhood are I94, and I35. I arrived at this grade for this section because we have bike routes, many buses run through my neighborhood, we have some main streets, and we have a couple of highways in my neighborhood.

Comments: There are two main grocery stores in my neighborhood Cub Foods, and So Low. Pharmacies in my neighborhood are CVS, and you can use cubs. There are no coffee shops that I know of that are in my neighborhood. We have a bank on Broadway, and there are many restaurants such as the gyro shops, Burger King, McDonalds, Wendy’s, Chinese food, ectera.
I arrived at a C for the overall grade for this section because we only have one bank, only two main grocery stores, one pharmacy, and no coffee shops, but other than that we’re pretty much good.

Comments: My neighborhood is a very violent place, there has been shots fired, and we have 6 predatory offenders in my neighborhood it seems like another comes up each day. The crime rate in my neighborhood is ridiculous.

Comments: I don’t hear airplane noise in my neighborhood, we have some pollution, and it sometimes stinks like two blocks away from my house.
The only thing that I don’t have in this section is airplane noise so I decided to grade this section as a D.

Grade: D
Comments: My neighborhood is pretty diverse. In my neighborhood we have African American, Asians, and Hispanic people. Not a lot of people own homes in my neighborhood, many people didn’t go to college, the income is generally low, and there are many people in poverty.
I arrived at this grade for my neighborhood because my neighborhood is pretty diverse, homeownership is rare, education after high school is rare, income is low, and poverty is high.

7. Areas for Improvement: My neighborhood would be better if the crime level decreased. Things that could potentially make the crime level decrease is if more people went to college after high school, income became higher, and if more people owned there homes.

8. What I like best about my neighborhood: I like the fact that my neighborhood offers many different things to the community such as libraries, parks, and schools.

9. What I’d Most Like to See for My Neighborhood: I’d like to see crime decrease the most so that everyone can see the full potential of my neighborhood, and I’d also enjoy to see more people getting a better education after high school.

My Neighborhood Description: Harrison neighborhood is located north of Minneapolis. It’s a great place to hang out especially if you like to play sports. They have many sports team.

Comments: We have Harrison Park, Sumner Library, Wild Flower Garden, Bassett’s Creek, and Theodore Wirth Park. It’s not one of the public service but it works.

2. Transportation (access to bike routes, bus and train, main streets, and highways)
Grade: C
Comments: We have Olson Memorial Highway (highways 55) , bus number nine and eight-teen, major streets like Penn and Glenwood, but we have no train or bike routes. The transportation is pretty good you don’t have to wait that long to get on the bus. The highway is just north of my neighborhood.

Comments: We don’t have as much retail services as other neighborhood. We do have a restaurant and a coffee shop. We don’t have a bank, groceries, or pharmacies. But if you drive about 7 miles right to Broadway they have a lot of retail services. The service there is okay, there are always people around there so it can be quite safe.

Comments: Our neighborhood is safe in some parts but for other parts in the neighborhood its not. There are some shots fired but not it didn’t hit anyone. We do have predatory offenders that can really be harmful and dangerous.

Comments: We do hear a little bit of airplane noise when it goes over our homes. Sometimes we can feel a vibration. Pollution in my neighborhood is not bad at all compare to other places. Our neighborhood doesn’t have any stinky odor.

Comments: My neighborhood is really diverse. Homeownership is quite good. Education is important to my neighborhood so our education is really good. 13.4% of my community is living under the poverty line. I think our education is pretty decent.7. If we fix those few things it may help our neighborhood improve.

My Neighborhood Description: It’s in south Minneapolis, just South of Powderhorn Park , and it’s a very fun and friendly neighborhood. Everyone is nice to everybody and gets along great!

Comments: There is Bancroft Elementary School, Sibley Park, and East Lake Library. I think that my neighborhood has everything that is needed so that’s why I gave it an A for the grade on public services.

Comments: My neighborhood has 2 Rapes and 3 Aggravated Assaults that’s why I gave my neighborhood a C for Safety. I would never think that my neighborhood had any crime but when I looked it up that’s when I found out that we had Rapes & Aggravated Assaults in my neighborhood. That’s not good so we should try to prevent that.

Comments: My neighborhood doesn’t have a lot of airport noise, pollution, and odors but it has sometimes it has a little because once in a while a plane goes by or you find some trash on the ground and you could find some weird smells but that only happened maybe once every month, so that’s why I gave my neighborhood a B for the grade on Nuisances.
