My Neighborhood Description :It is quiet and peaceful place

1. Public Services (Van Cleve park , u of m library , Marcy Open)
Grade : A
Comments: because we have lots of good places

2. Transportation (access to bike routes, bus and train, main streets, and highways)

Comments: bike routes by the park, bus around the corner, train by the hwy, Hennepin st., 35w and 94w I gave you info

3. Retail Services (groceries, pharmacies, coffee shops, banks, restaurants and more)
Grade: A
Comments: [Rainbow and target, Wallgreen , Mud Sucker coffee and star buck coffee, U.S bank and TCF bank, Holyland Restraunt and Cresent moon pizza) Thats all Stores, banks and coffee shoppes

4. Safety (violent and nonviolent crime, shots fired, predatory offenders, and pedestrian safety)
Grade: A
Comments: tell how you arrived at this grade – why this grade

5. Nuisances (airport noise, pollution, and odors)
Grade: B
Comments: I don`t get this part

6. Demographics (diversity, more homeownership, education, high income, more poverty)

Comments: Homeownership could be higher, there should be less poverty, and higher incomes.

7. Areas for Improvement: The park, because people litter in the park

My Neighborhood Description: It’s located in the southeast of Minneapolis

1. Public Services (parks, libraries, schools)
Grade: B
Comments:I gave it a B because i put all of the parks, schools. Lake Hiawatha Park, Minnehaha Park, Roosevelt Library, Roosevelt High School, Northrop Elementary, and Folwell Middle School

2. Transportation (access to bike routes, bus and train, main streets, and highways)
Grade: B
Comments: I gave this a B cause i put all of the bus & train numbers and bicycle paths. Minnehaha pkwy, Bus 22, 7, 46 Trains 46Th

3. Retail Services (groceries, pharmacies, coffee shops, banks, restaurants and more)
Grade: C
Comments: Some are Walgreens, Flag Foods, Dokkens Superette, Bill’s Garden, Baker’s Wife, McDonalds, Burger King.

4. Safety (violent and nonviolent crime, shots fired, predatory offenders, and pedestrian safety)
Grade: B
Comments: Some bad stuff happened in my neighborhood but in Kenny a couple of stuff happened like crimes & in Jordan a lot of bad stuff happened than in my neighborhood and in Kenny. But Jordan is probably the worst place to live in.

5. Nuisances (airport noise, pollution, and odors)
Grade: C
Comments: Where I live there’s no airplane noise, no pollution and the air quality is OK. Basically there’s no problem with noise, pollution and the air.

6. Demographics (diversity, homeowner ship, education, income, and poverty)
Grade: B
Comments: In neighborhood education is not that good and homeowner ship is pretty big, in Kenny the education is a bit higher and the homeowner ship is also pretty big, and in Jordan the education is lower than in my neighborhood and in Kenny. The homeowner ship in Jordan is less than my neighborhood and Kenny.

7. Areas for Improvement: There's no areas to be improved in my neighborhood everything is o.k. the way it is. But there's only one thing that should be improved in my neighborhood is crime and burglary.

8. What I like best about my neighborhood: What I like about my neighborhood is the people that live there and it’s also close to a park so kids can go and play. I also like it because there’s a park with soccer nets and I like it because I like to play soccer a lot & so I can practice also.

9. What I’d Most Like to See for My Neighborhood: What I want see in my neighborhood is no more crimes, because there’s been a couple not a lot just like 3 or 5 but I want that to stop. Also want kids to be safe and to play at the park or outside there house.

My Neighborhood Name: Folwell

My Neighborhood Description: It is located on 36th Humbolt Ave North 55412.

1. Public Services: Folwell the park, North Regional Library, and Jordon Park the school is near my neighborhood.
Grade: I give my neighborhood an A- because it has lots of resources.
Comments: Lots of good resources.

2. Transportation (There is a bike route that runs on 26th to Theodore Wirth Park, there is a bike route that runs from Washington to Downtown , bus 5M runs down on Fremont to Downtown to the Mall of America and, main streets, and highways)
Grade: B+ because you can go everywhere but it will take a long time to get to the places you need to go.
Comments: I gave it a B+ because the buses and trains are very far from each other.

3. Retail Services: We have all these groceries, pharmacies, coffee shops, banks, and restaurants but they are very far away from me.
Grade: B+
Comments: Maybe if they weren’t so far away it’d would a have a better grade.

4. Safety: I think that my neighborhood is pretty violent because there has been a lot of crime and but lately there hasn’t been much violent that has happened, lots of shots fired, not a lot of offenders, it is kind of.
Grade: I would give it a C because there is lots of violence.
Comments: I arrived with this grade because there are a lot of things that happen in my neighborhood that not a lot of people know about.

5. Nuisances: NO airplane noises, lots of pollution, and lots I think of odor.
Grade: C because there is way too much pollution.
Comments: Way too much pollution.

6. Demographics: My neighborhood is more diverse than Kenny’s neighborhood and Jordan’s. We have the most ownership. I think Kenny has more educated people/ neighborhood.
Grade: C
Comments: Kenny is better.

7. Areas for Improvement: I think that my neighborhood needs a lot of improvement because people litter a lot and that there shouldn’t be much violence.

8. What I like best about my neighborhood: What I like best about my neighborhood is that I can go where ever I want without anybody knowing where I go because they don’t go there often with me.

9. What I’d Most Like to See for My Neighborhood: I like it when my neighborhood is quiet and not so much going on and I like it when there isn’t a lot of people outside.
